At this glade Nazi invaders committed three mass executions (summer 1942, on 29/30th June 1943 and on 15th July 1943).
No fewer than 176 Poles were killed. Executed were buried in the prepared excavations.
In Autumn 1944 Sonderkommando 1005 covering traits of the crime burnt remnants of all the victims.
Graves prepared in Spring 1945 cover only victims' ashes.
This cemetery was consecrated by the Ordinary of Łomżyńska Diocese,
Bishop Stanisław Kostka Łukomski, on 15 July 1945.
